This wonderful recording by Eric Hoeprich's Nachtmusique brings to life a virtually unknown, but outstanding composer from Classical Bohemia. His music for wind instruments, previously unrecorded and mostly unpublished, requires enormous virtuosity – never before have we heard Classical wind playing of this quality. The warm and colourful sound of the period instruments and the natural ease with which the ensemble plays together, make this recording a “must have” for any serious record collector.
